AI-Deep tech and Bio-informatics driven quality assessment and management of agriculture crops post harvest

RootsGoods provides an interactive, multi-disciplinary SaaS platform equipped with specialised software. Our software objectively assesses the quality of maize grain to facilitate fair negotiation and sale of produce based on its quality. Our platform connects maize-growing farmers with buyers across various states in India based on the need of quality, quantity, pricing, and distance between them. We also offer transportation services to deliver maize from farms directly to buyers’ addresses. Our focus grain is maize, which is one of the largest and climate-resilient agricultural products in India. Using our platform, the quality challenges faced by both farmers and buyers are reduced, and financial growth of the farmers is ensured with a valid pricing. Our technology uses artificial intelligence to determine the grade of maize by identifying the size, colour, percentage of inert (foreign) materials, fungus infection, and moisture inside maize kernel. This is done using photo, location, and weather data. The estimation efficiency of our current model is more than 95% and has been actively used to generate quality certificates for farmers and buyers through our mobile application directly.
